We are excited about Drama here at Sheffield. We are constantly looking for those who are willing to allow the Lord to use them in the areas of acting, set design, back stage crew, lighting team, sound technicians, and creative writing. We are always looking for new ways to present the Gospel through drama. We are doing that through illustrated messages and human videos as well as full scale drama productions. To become involved please contact Pastor Roger Horne. This Christmas we will be presenting Tribulation Christmas the end times drama that we have done for over 25 years. In 2007 we took a break from this powerful play, but we are very excited to bring it back to the stage this year. The production will be the first weekend of December. Be looking for more information on our website at tribulationchristmas.com that will soon be functional for this years production. In 2009, we will once again be presenting My Deliverer during the Easter season. To be a vital part of Adult drama please contact Pastor Roger Horne. |

Welcome to this introduction of the instrumental music ministry of Sheffield A/G. Our instrumentalists are dedicated Christians who serve the Lord with their musical talents. Thursday rehearsals begin at 7:15 pm in the rehearsal hall immediately above the platform area. Weekly services require a balance of playing well with notation and improvisation. The Jesus Jazz Band plays for the offertories of the morning services. Our sounds blend with the worship team, choir and congregation during the worship services. A variety of musical styles are always used. The band occasionally plays at other churches as an ambassador team from Sheffield.
If you are committed Christian with committed musical skills, we need to know of your interest in being a part of the ministry group. Please contact Pastor Terry Eddington for more information. We are looking forward to getting to know you! Pastor Terry |

There are several chances to be involved in missions endeavors at Sheffield. From overseas trips that last around 10 days to US trips that last only a weekend, along with local community efforts, there are always opportunities to become involved in missions. Our plans include a trip to Monterrey, Mexico in February to work with Missionary Jeremy Gage with Christ for the Nations Ministry, also we will be doing at least two "weekend only" trips in 2009. One will be to Hot Springs, Arkansas to the AG Family Services Agency working with Orphans and women with unexpected pregnancies and then in June we will be going to St. Louis, Mo. to assist David and Sheri Godbout on their new church plant. We are also planning on a trip to Haiti in the fall of 2009. Besides all of these scheduled trips, we will be doing several local community projects to touch our neighborhood. Plan on being a part of a life changing missions effort in your near future. For weekly updates about all that is going on in Missions at Sheffield, contact Pastor Roger Horne. |

Our volunteer team is the back bone of this ministry. Without them we could not begin to reach the numbers of youth who come into the gym each week.
If you are interested in volunteering you will need to take the "Foundations" class during Sunday School and meet with Pastor Dennis or Pastor Kevin. You will then want to come and observe a service. We will determine if youth ministry is a good fit for you. |
